Our Commercial I students were tasked with doing a studio shoot of a metallic object this past week. Check out some of the best images!
For their first foray into tabletop photography with strobes, the Commercial I students were asked to create a photograph that emphasized texture.
Today, the first year students got their first taste of working with the studio strobes in my Commercial I class. (We had a little bit of fun with some gold doubloons).
The final project in Camera Techniques II was to photograph a portrait using at least one external flash. Overall I was very pleased with the results and I received some great images.
Please join us for a special lecture tonight by Atlanta photographer Bob Mahoney, he will be speaking at 7pm in Room 707 in building 100.
FYI, the picture below is Bob’s work, not a picture of Bob 🙂
In Camera Techniques II, the students were recently tasked with using the tilt/shift lenses to make a full scale scene look “miniature”. They also were given an assignment to create a still life scene and photograph it with the aid of an external flash. I received some great images for both assignments, here are a few of the highlights.
